Must.

Phil: She's the queen of it (according to everyone lol).

K.Turley: I'll have to look up AUSTENLAND. Ella Enchanted I know I at least saw the movie of. AUSTENLAND by Shannon Hale is good if you'd like a modern Pride and Prejudice story.Kimberlee Turleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04695299361596799423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765273460365468255.post-19364754836631113882011-08-02T00:08:23.647-04:002011-08-02T00:08:23.647-04:00I know someone already mentioned Jane Austen, but ...I know someone already mentioned Jane Austen, but I'm adding to her list.

Persuasion

If you like slow burns and repressed feelings, then you will LOVE this book!Philip Siegelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14148279503538324679noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765273460365468255.post-21765911963220025272011-08-01T17:59:04.734-04:002011-08-01T17:59:04.734-04:00Divergent is awesome-sauce! I think that's what drew me to Vamp Academy in the first place since Rose can't be with Dimitri, blah blah blah. They don't even kiss until near the end, but the entire book is so full of romantic tension that you just HAVE to keep reading.Rebecca Christiansenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03635706076314669496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765273460365468255.post-38311365562301394892011-08-01T13:07:33.415-04:002011-08-01T13:07:33.415-04:00Krista: I'd say so. To give you an Idea - I thought "The Host" by Stephanie Meyer was a little too mushy.

However, two of my favorite love stories of all time are Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility.

When it comes to romance I like to see the characters falling in love. I love it when the final scene of a movie (or book) is their first kiss. Gives me chills! Love it! So I guess I am one of those people that likes a slow burning romance.Kristahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10348921731053503531noreply@blogger.com
